Ethos Engage lifecycle model on Iterable: activate, retain and win back customers in the UAE and GCC

Do you offer Iterable consulting in Dubai and the UAE?

Yes. Ethos supports Iterable users across the UAE, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, from our Dubai and Riyadh teams. We plan, build and run lifecycle journeys on your existing Iterable set-up, in Arabic and English.

Do you support Iterable in Qatar, Bahrain and Oman?

Yes. We work with brands in Doha, Manama and Muscat, and with groups that operate across several GCC markets. Journeys can be set up per market, with local offers, language and sender rules, while reporting stays in one view.

Can Iterable run Arabic, right-to-left and WhatsApp journeys?

Yes. We build right-to-left Arabic templates and English versions for every message, checked by an Ethos writer before sending. Iterable supports WhatsApp, so we set up approved message templates, opt-in and quick replies alongside your other channels.

How do you handle data protection on Iterable in the UAE and GCC?

We work inside your Iterable account and your compliance framework, and we do not copy customer data to Ethos systems. Journeys are consent-checked and designed around the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the equivalent laws in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and free-zone rules such as DIFC and ADGM where they apply. Your legal or data-protection team keeps final sign-off.

Do you also support Iterable in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Ethos is headquartered in Riyadh and has worked with Saudi brands for more than a decade. Our Saudi page for Iterable covers PDPL, Saudi-dialect content and the local sales calendar in more detail.

How does an Ethos Engage programme on Iterable work, and what does it cost?

Engage is a recurring monthly retainer. A setup team designs the programme in months 1–3, then an operations team runs it every day. The fee depends on the number of journeys, channels and markets. Many clients start with one stage, such as activation, retention or win-back, and expand once results are proven.

Iterable is less common in the Gulf. Can you still support it?

Yes. Lifecycle work is the same on any platform: plan, segment, build, send, measure. Our martech team works with Iterable's workflows, templates and APIs.

Iterable is a cross-channel marketing platform with a visual workflow builder for email, push, SMS, in-app and WhatsApp. Across the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the wider Middle East, it is usually run by consumer brands that want flexible, data-driven cross-channel journeys.

Ethos is an independent Iterable consultancy with more than 70 specialists across hubs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Egypt. We are not tied to any platform vendor, so our advice is about results, not licences.

With Ethos Engage, our team runs Iterable as a recurring lifecycle programme, on your own account. We build Studio workflows for each lifecycle stage, set up catalogs and data feeds for personalisation, create Handlebars-personalised Arabic and English templates and run experiments and hold-outs.

Every message is written in Arabic and English and checked by an Ethos writer. Every journey has a target and is measured against a control group, so you see the revenue it added, market by market across the GCC.

Ethos Engage is staffed to your scope: a setup team designs the programme in months 1–3, then an operations team runs it every day.

  • Experience Strategist (setup, months 1–3): designs the lifecycle programme around Iterable: use cases, journeys, targets and targeting rules.

  • Data Architect (setup): maps how your CRM, app and web data connect to the programme: IDs, events and segments.

  • Engagement Manager (team lead, day to day): builds, launches and optimises every journey, working alongside your team.

  • MarTech Developer (day to day): builds and maintains the set-up: Studio workflows, Handlebars, catalogs, data feeds and APIs.

  • Data & Performance Analyst (day to day): loads segments, monitors results and reports each journey against a hold-out group.

  • UX/UI Designer & Copywriter (day to day): designs and writes every message in Arabic and English.
